The word ‘chakra’ literally translates as ‘wheel’ or ‘disk’ and refers to a spinning sphere of bio energetic energy branching forward from a subtle energy channel in the spine. The channel is made up of 3 parts: the Shushumna at the core of the spine, the most important energy channel; and the Ida and Pingala that flow back and forth around the outside of the Sushumna. This channel distributes energy throughout the subtle energy system. There are 7 of these wheels stacked in this column of energy that starts from the base of the spine (root chakra) to the top of the head (crown chakra). The frequency and complexity of the energy in each chakra increases in each successive chakra. The root chakra has very basic, dense energy (making it easier to see) where the crown chakra has very refined energy. The chakras are responsible for creating the various kinds of consciousness operating within our subtle energy systems and are also connected to the complete spectrum of human experience. There are also minor chakras in the hands, feet, fingertips and shoulders. Chakras can also be thought of as points where the soul connects with the physical body.
Understanding the chakras can be very helpful when giving Reiki treatments as any blocks or negative energies that can lodge in the chakras need to be released in order for healing to take place.

The word meditation, is derived from two Latin words : meditari (to think, to dwell upon, to exercise the mind) and mederi (to heal). Its Sanskrit derivation 'medha' means wisdom. At present many different kind of meditation is famous. But all meaning is same, just to control the mind and concentrate on one point. It is very difficult work to do control of mind. Because mind always think some things peoples get sleep, but mind doesn't sleep mind can see good and bad dreams. When someone do meditation just his mind is focus only on one point, than he feel more enjoy during the meditation.

As you focus your mind on your third eye, then your full attention is only on your third eye. After some time you can feel you are looking different colors, just like red, blue, green, white, orange & pink etc. Few peoples see different flowers and some feel their body is getting warm up, and some feel cold. Few people feel vibration in their chakras of body. Everyone has a different kind of feelings. If you feel enjoy during the meditation than your mind will be control. And then you can't feel the pain in your body and you will be able to sit for a long time in one position during the meditation. But if your mind doesn't control than you feel little bit pain or tiredness in your body.
meditation is not a technique but a way of life. Meditation means 'a cessation of the thought process' . It describes a state of consciousness, when the mind is free of scattered thoughts and various patterns . The observer (one who is doing meditation) realizes that all the activity of the mind is reduced to one.
Precautions / to be avoided: Cigarettes, coffee, pickle, chicken, fish, eggs, more spicy or oily food. If you follow the above, your five elements control and your seven chakra will work properly in your body. And any kind of mentally and physically problem will be cured. Especially any kind of mental problem meditation is very good.
